After a gorgeous, 75-degree first day of camp, wet weather has moved in, and Twins' workouts could be affected this morning. As of 8 a.m. ET, an hour before the team is scheduled to assemble outside, the morning's steady rain had stopped, but the sky remains overcast and the fields look soaked, with small puddles of standing water on the infield dirt.
Hitting coach Tom Brunansky was working with a minor-league player (sorry, I've still got to learn everyone's face) in the batting cage as I arrived, but the usual crowds of people who normally stand and watch the action are absent.
Check back later this morning for updates on the Twins' camp. And you can follow me on Twitter at @MillerStrib.
