'Pearls of Prestige' inaugural biennial winter cotillion

There has been a rebirth of African American cotillions and debutante balls in the Twin Cities. For the last year, a fresh batch of young African American women have been preparing for their big debut. On a recent weekend they held the Alpha Kappa Alpha "Pearls of Prestige" inaugural biennial winter cotillion.
