Brady James "Jim" Michael Brady, age 87, formerly of Mpls suburb and Walker, died May 29, 2005. Jim worked for the Walgreens Co. and owned and operated various drugstores in his career. In the 1950s he owned the Powderhorn Drugstore in S Mpls and the Rexall Drug in Langdon, ND, and in the 1960s and 1970s he owned Jim Brady Drugs in Savage, MN and one in Shoreview, MN. In the 1980s and the 1990s he was an independent pharmacist working throughout northern MN. Jim worked up until he retired as a pharmacist at the age of 85. Survived by children, Deborah (David Burdick) Brady, of Winona, William P. (Lisa) Brady of Prior Lake, Kevin P. (Jacqueline) Brady of Rosemount; daughter-in- law, Cynthia K. Brady of Farmington, MN; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 4 sisters, Dolores McNeil, Kathleen Longfellow, Suzanne Byars, all of Phoenix, AZ, and Mary Van Arsdale of Carson City, NV. Preceded in death by wife, Elizabeth "Betty" Brady; son, James "Jim" M. Brady Jr.; parents, James and Deborah Brady. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, 11 am, at Mary Mother of the Church, 3333 Cliff Rd., Burnsville. Visitation 1 hour prior to mass at church. Interment Fort Snelling Nat'l Cemetery.
