Froberg, Elizabeth A. age 86, of Waconia and Minnetonka, passed away Friday, October 17, 2014. Elizabeth was born March 24, 1928 to Herbert James & Evelyn (Melchoir) Wood. Survived by special friend John Gibson of Winnepeg, Ontario; daughters Kathy Stovern, Sandy Brogren (Karl), Mary Severson (Frederick); son Raymond Froberg Jr. (Mary); 11 grandchildren, Sarah & Derek Sto-vern (Tami), Kirsten & Kirk Brogren (Fabiana), Karen Omlung (Tashi), Elizabeth Guentzel (Joseph), Kara, Larissa & Madison Froberg, Alan & Laura Smith; 7 great-grandchildren Shelby, Brady, Abby & Lydia Stovern, Lily & Livia Omlung & Blake Guentzel; brother James Wood (Catherine); sisters Helen Thomas & Kathleen Kerber (Harry). She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Raymond Froberg Sr., her parents, brother-in-law Bud Thomas & grandchild Susan Severson. Elizabeth loved the outdoors; gardening, camping, bird watching & traveling. Visitation will be held 1 hr prior to Mass of Christian Burial at St. Therese Catholic Church, Deephaven, MN on Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 10:30 AM. Elizabeth & Ray will be interred together in Hillside Cemetery, Carlton, MN on November 1, 11:00 AM. Memorials to the Alzheimer's Association or Good Samaritan of Howard Lake. A special thanks to the Good Samaritan Howard Lake staff for the wonderful care she received during her battle with Alzheimer's disease.
