Spencer, William (Bill) Bradley 70, of Prior Lake, passed away on July 31, 2014 at rest in his home after a long battle with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. He was born on June 30, 1944 in Minneapolis, MN to Dorothy (Bradley) Cronquist. Bill grew up in Minneapolis MN. Bill worked for Lakewood Cemetery where he worked for over 40 years. Bill married the love of his life LaVonne (Lovey) in 1966 and they were happily married for 48 years. Bill touched many lives with his unselfishness and caring of others throughout life. He loved spending time with family and friends; loving his wife's family as his own. Bill's love of his children and grandchildren was unmatched. This was a priceless gift that he bestowed upon them in the wonderful times they had together. Bill's impact on lives will continue to thrive through his remembrance and lifelong guidance to his children and those around him. Bill is survived by his spouse, Lovey; daughter, Lisa (Bruce) Washington; son, Bradley (Jennifer) Spencer; sister, Suzanne (Carl) Newberger; grandchildren, (Washington) Hannah, Caleb, Sam, (Spencer) Keira, Quinton, Brennan and Braeden; and mother, Dorothy Cronquist. Bill was preceded in death by his friend and brother-in-law, Gary Layeux and nephew, Wayne Okins. A memorial service will be held at Lakewood Cemetery Garden Mausoleum, 3600 Hennepin Ave S, Mpls, at 12:00 Noon on August 4, 2014.
