Julia Klein Rossini

Rossini, Julia Klein Reker age 64, of Homosassa, FL and a native of Edina, MN passed away on July 24 in Ashland, WI. A celebration of Julie's life is to be held at Washburn-McReavy in Eden Prairie on August 2, 2014 from 2-6 pm. Additional celebrations will be held "up north" and in FL in the coming weeks. Julie was preceded in death by her father, Robert Klein. She is survived by her devoted husband, Thomas, her mother, Marilynn Klein, her three sisters and her loving children. She was the best mom to David Reker and Aimee (Matt) Reker Fernberger and loved her step-children Anna Maria Nichols and Natalie (Joe) Marrone. Julie was a graduate of Edina High School and attended Mankato State University. Julie cared deeply about safe boating and served as Commander of the United States Power Squadron and the National Safe Boating Committee, helping to keep the waters wonderful from Lake Mtka to The Apostle Islands. Julie worked hard and smart, having sold state of the art medical supplies in dialysis, angioplasty and interocular lenses. If you needed to get something done, you asked Julie. She was happiest when her 6 grandkids had cookies in hand and swimsuits on. Her joy will be carried on through Zachary, Liam, Margot, Joshua, Mariana, Joey, and Abigail. Julie was kind, generous, capable, loving and funny. She was sweeter than cotton candy and gummy worms, more lovely than a Peace rose, brighter than the sunrise over Presque Isle and snugglier than a nap in the bow. She helped us all be our "bestest" selves. She loved your smiles and your laughs. Don't be stingy with them! The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Ashland Memorial Hospital. Donations may be made in her honor to the Natl Breast Cancer Society or her fund with the Upper Midwest MS Society. washburn-mcreavy.com
