Loehr, John J. age 79, of Mpls, previously of Melrose, passed away on October 19, 2017. Veteran, USAF. Preceded in death by parents, Edwin and Anna Loehr; brother in-law, David Althaus. He will be deeply missed by his children, Jacqueline Loehr-Anderson (Russell), Janel Loehr, John Loehr, Jr. (Suzanne Richcreek); grandson, Nicholas Swanson; Nick's father, Craig Swanson; siblings, Lucille Athmann (Joseph), Donald Loehr (Ardell), Vernon Loehr (Julie), Judy Marthaler (Joel), Ralph Loehr (Kathy), Diane Althaus; many relatives and good friends. Visitation 1 1/2 hours before service. Memorial Service 11am Friday, November 17th at Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7835 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Park (763-560-3100). Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
