Weist, Darwin S. Age 96, of Golden Valley passed away October 17th. Born in Lacrosse WI, December 31, 1920. Army Air Force pilot from 1942 to 1945. Graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1948 in Mech. Eng. Founded the company Clean Air Products in 1970. Preceded in death by his brother, William and grandson, John. Survived by his wife, Inez; sons, Brian (Lynn), Kevin (Jennifer); daughter, Cynthia and four grandchildren. Funeral Service 11AM Saturday, October 28th at St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church, 17205 County Rd 6, Plymouth. Visitation 5-8PM Friday, October 27th at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel, as well as one hour prior at the church. Interment Dawn Valley Memorial Gardens.
