Olson, Gertrude (Sis) Marie Faxvog age 98, resident of Crow Wing Lake, Brainerd, MN, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at The Good Shepherd Community Care Center in Sauk Rapids, MN. Sis was born on November 11, 1918 in Osseo, Minnesota to Auden and Gunda (Lund) Faxvog. She is survived by her children, John Henry (Jack), Jr. (Susie), Craig Charles Olson (Nadine) and granddaughter, Carrie, 2 God sons, nieces, nephews & cousins. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, John Henry Olson, Sr., her grandson, Johnny Olson III; 2 brothers and 4 sisters. Services will be held 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Abounding Joy Lutheran Church (6000 County Road 120, St Cloud). Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Private burial will be in Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Camp Ripley at a later date. Memorials should be sent to Nelson-Doran Funeral Home, 202 Eighth Avenue NE, Brainerd by Saturday, June 3rd for delivery to the church on Sunday.
