Post, Lyle Loretta Minnetonka passed away April 26, 2017 on her 87th birthday. Lyle was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Velma Sinnott, sister Barbara Ward, husband of 64 years Ralph, and son Thomas (Monica). She is survived by daughter Shannon, sons Terrance (Connie), Steven (Lea Ann), and Kevin, grandchildren Erik, Brian, Alex, Nina and Sara, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as sister Patricia and brothers Joseph and Michael. Lyle was a firm believer in the five F's of life: family, faith, friends, food (she was a world class cook), and fighting for what you believe in. This dynamo was a bright point of light to all who had the good fortune to be in her life. Besides raising five children, she found time to be a prolific letter writer, gardener, reader, and chronicler of family history. Service will be at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 13505 Excelsior Blvd, Minnetonka, MN at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 4, 2017. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Reception to follow service. Private interment.
