Alain is survived by his wife of 46 years, Aleen; daughters, Kristin (Richard) Benson and Kimberly (Dale) Carlson; grandchildren, Claire Benson and Neal Carlson; siblings, Norbert (Pamela), Radja (Patty), and Anita (Edward) Robson; other family and friends.
