Ash, Kevin Daniel 34, beloved son, grandson, brother, uncle and friend, formerly of Owatonna, MN, passed away on January 15, 2017 at 12:50 am from complications due to a traumatic brain injury that he sustained playing rugby on September 21, 2013. Kevin is survived by his maternal grandparents, John P. and Doris Carlson of Newark, OH; his mother, Joy Carlson Kieffer of Buffalo, MN, step-father, Steve Martin of Owatonna, MN, and his father and step-mother, Daniel and Gloria Ash of Austin, MN; his brother, Connor Martin of Buffalo, MN, his sister, Erica Ash (Dusty Gibson) of Paintsville, KY, his nephew, Gunner Gibson, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, and other family and friends. Visitation will be held at David Lee Funeral Home on Friday, January 20, 5-7 pm. Memorial service Saturday, January 21, 2017 12 Noon at David Lee Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will be held at Fort Snelling Cemetery later this spring.
