Downing, Arthur C. Jr. age 91, of Henderson-ville, NC, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 27, 2016. He enjoyed a long career at Control Data Corp. He and his wife, Eleanor, opened Carousel Travel. They enjoyed the fellowship they found at Westminster Presbyterian Church. He was loved by all that knew him and will be sorely missed. He was preceded in death, by his beloved wife of 69 years, Eleanor M. Downing. He is survived by his three daughters, Sue Kolar (Robert), Holly Dahl (John) and Jamielee Ralph (Mike).
