Brandstetter, Joseph J. age 83, of Minnetonka, passed away peacefully at home on May 24, 2016. Survived by wife of 59 years, Marie Brandstetter; children Todd Brandstetter (Michelle), Michelle Smith (Jim), Julie Ellingboe (Scott); grandchildren Tyler Smith; Blake and Jack Brandstetter, Caroline, Ross and Sarah Ellingboe, and sister Marie Kujawa. Joseph was preceded in death by daughter Lisa Brandstetter, brother Gene Brand-stetter and parents Peter and Margaret Brandstetter. Joe was born in Mpls. on July 30, 1932. He served as a Sergeant in the Korean War and was then employed by Lucent Technologies for 38 years. He served as a loaned executive for the United Way Campaign after retirement. Memorial Mass to be held at 11 am on Wed., June 8 at St. Mary of the Lake Church, 105 N. Forestview Ln., Plymouth. Gathering 1 hour prior. Interment at Ft.
