Jahraus, Cindy Jean age 54, of Plymouth, went to meet her Savior on May 13, 2008 after a courageous two year battle with breast cancer. She will be missed by her loving husband of 27 years, Joel; her children, Heidi, 26; Jessica, 24; Isaac, 19 and Eli, 17; as well as her parents, Richard and Marjorie Wohler, siblings Kent (Carol) Wohler; Robyn (Erin) Feldges; Bethany Mitchum; Kathy (Kenneth) Woods and Peter (Jessica) Wohler along with many relatives and friends. Cindy was born in Minneapolis and was a graduate of Osseo High School, Missouri Baptist College and Bethel College in St. Paul, MN. She taught elementary school in Anoka, MN and as a missionary in Taejon, Korea. Cindy was an active member of Park Avenue United Methodist Church and loved gospel music which she called "a little taste of heaven". She was her children's biggest supporter, never missing a football or basketball game, concert or track meet, and she touched countless lives with her sweet spirit and unwavering faith in Christ. She was a fiercely independent woman who never doubted God's plan for her life. Cindy's favorite verse was Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding; but in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." We want to express our sincere thanks and appreciation for all those who stayed close to Cindy and our family during her illness.
