Hilsen, John L. born February 17, 1963, died June 12, 2024. He is survived by his sister Holly (John) Widen; nieces and nephews Rick (Katie) Widen, Rachel (Reid) Wixson, Mari (Peter Stenross) Widen; great-nieces and nephews Rosie and Jerry Widen, Daniel and Eva Wixson; sister-in-law Susan Jennelly; uncle Lowell Hilsen; and many loving cousins, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Dick and Violet Hilsen; brother Ben Hilsen; sister Andrea Hilsen; and beloved grandparents, aunts, and uncles. A service of remembrance will be held at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church, 5025 Knox Ave. S. Minneapolis, MN 55419 on June 24 at 2 PM, with visitation beginning at 1PM.
