Ozolins, Elita age 94, of Minneapolis, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, April 26, 2024. She was born January 29, 1930 in Latvia. She is survived by her husband, Janis; daughter, Sandra (John) Plifka; grandchildren, Mara (Nick) and Dane (Brielle); and great-grandsons, Brayden and Dawson. Elita will be remembered as very kind and loving by her family and friends, whom she treasured greatly. Her Latvian heritage was very important to her, singing in the church choir, attending song and dance festivals and visiting relatives in Latvia. Elita enjoyed time at the Ozolins cabin in Pequot Lakes, where she and Janis hosted many memorable get togethers. Memorial Service held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 10 at the Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3152 - 17th Avenue South in Minneapolis with a visitation 1 hour prior.
