Larry Randall Holmboe, 84, of Modesto, California, passed away on April 23, 2024. A dedicated and hard-working individual, Larry was born on February 5, 1940, in Minneapolis, MN. He proudly served with honor in the United States Marine Corps. After his military service, he pursued a successful career in the food sales business for over 50 years, eventually becoming the owner of his own sales and distributing company. Larry was a people-oriented individual who enjoyed fishing, traveling, target practice, and was an avid supporter of the 2nd Amendment. His love for outdoor activities and commitment to his hobbies were evident in his everyday life. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Holmboe, his children John, Tracy, Jason, and Joshua Holmboe, sister Carolyn Dahl, brother John Holmboe (Sally), 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Randall and Beatrice Holmboe, as well as his daughters Lorrie and Shelly Holmboe. Larry's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
