Guenther, Marjorie Nelson age 104, was born in Coleharbor, ND, on 10-21-1919 to Mabel & Leon Nelson. She died in Minnetonka, MN on 3-14-2024. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Byron, Lois, Kay, Arthur, Audrey; and her beloved husband Floyd (Ske), her high school sweetheart & soulmate. Together they loved & raised three children, and delighted in their marriages & in the grandchildren who followed. Marge is survived by her sister Carol; her children Susan (Steve) Young, Steve (Jean) & Joel (Katie); grandchildren Joe, Annie (Ramsey) Peterson, Shannon (Josh) Wegner, Kyle (Brendan) Flanagan, Grant (Megan), & Anne (Tair) Akmejanov; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank her caregivers from Brighton Hospice, Creekside Clinic & the staff at The Glenn Minnetonka. Marjorie generously donated her body to the U of MN Anatomy Bequest Program. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 25 at Fairmount Avenue United Methodist Church, 1523 Fairmount Ave., St. Paul, MN. The service will be at 11:00 am with visitation an hour prior & a luncheon immediately following.
