McCarthy, June Lila died peacefully on November 17, 2023 at the age of 95. June was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Cathleen Diane McCarthy in 1980. Born in St. Paul and later a longtime resident of Minnetonka, June had a very interesting and fulfilling life. Crowned the first Homecoming Queen for St. Thomas College in 1946, June went on to own and operate several Arthur Murray dance studios in the region. Chairing many social and investment clubs over the years she went on to travel the world in a constant pursuit of knowledge and enlightenment. June will be dearly missed by those who knew her. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 22, at Acacia Cemetery at 1:00 PM.
