Yaeger, Gerrad On March 16, 2023, Gerrad Guy Yaeger, 83, departed this earthly life after a long battle with COPD, Lung Cancer, and heartache from losing his beautiful wife. Now at peace, joining his parents, sister Audree, brother Neil, beloved wife Donna, and grandson Matthew. Gerrad is survived by daughter, Liza (Peter) Ramberg, son Layne Yaeger, bonus daughters, Sandra Roman and Julie Spinner and bonus son, Scott (Laurie) Merwin. He leaves behind 11 grandchildren, Sonja, Karl, Paul, Jessica, Amie, Brittney, Brooke, Mackenzie, Christopher, Mitchell, Kyle and 16 great grandchildren. Gerrad was a Marine, and meteorologist in the Air Force. He was a voracious reader, talented artist, avid golfer, model, and property manager. He had extravagant taste from his coffee and cigars to the thread count of his sheets. He passed on his love of art to his grandchildren, encouraged them and was their biggest fan. He was a stubborn force to be reckoned with; An advocate for being the best you can, a voice of reason, and a confidant. In his final days he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
