Dorn, Marilee Ann 94 passed away peacefully on Dec 30th, 2022 after a long battle with heart decease. Marilee was born on May 27th 1928 to Robert and Malinda Dorn. Marilee was a graduate of Roosevelt High School and a professional pioneer in her day with a career working for Northwestern Bell Telephone Company. Throughout Marilee's life she enjoyed the holidays hearing stories from family and all the festivities that took place. Marilee never forgot a birthday and one could always expect to receive a thinking of you message from her as well. Marilee loved to learn new things whether it was researching for her next trip with friends to somewhere warm, or digging into her families ancestry. By doing this Marilee laid the bricks for many generations to build upon. In Marilee's later years she enjoyed keeping in-touch with friends and volunteering for various charities such as the American Red Cross, and Mt. Olivet Church. Services will be held at Lakewood Cemetery on February 25th, 2023 at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association, an organization she felt strongly about.
