Kielas, Michael C. "Mike" Age 81, Minneapolis, beloved husband, father, brother, father-in-law, uncle, grandfather and great-grandfather. Date of birth 02/04/1941. Passed away peacefully surrounded by family 01/21/2023. Preceded in death by parents Casimere and Lorraine Kielas, brothers Tom and Dave, sister-in- law Terri, sister-in-law Kaye, and grandson Mark. Survived by Joyce, wife of 62 years, brother Dan, sister-in-law Diane Osby, sister-in-law Lori Kielas, brother-in-law Jack Arbuckle, sons Scott (Vickie), Rick, John, Jeff (Kris) and Brian (Diane), 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Mike enjoyed many years of hunting, fishing, camping, cabin life, and woodworking in his shop. Mike also valued the importance of family and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mike spent the last two years fighting a cancer battle that he couldn't win. A service for Michael will be held on Friday, February 3rd, 2023, 10:00 a.m. Visitation at 9:00 a.m. at St. Helena Catholic Church, 3204 E 43rd Street, Minneapolis, 55406. There will be a luncheon after the service, followed by interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
