Singer, Rochelle Lee "Shelley" age 83 Passed gently and peacefully on November 10. Preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Dorothy Singer, and her sister and brother-in-law, Adrienne and Paul Tanick. She is survived by her loving wife, Polly Podolsky; daughter Sonya Singer-Solomon; niece, Amy Tanick Shulkin (Michael); nephew, Andrew Tanick (Susan Banal); grand-nephews, Adam Shulkin and Nathan Shulkin (Amanda Trojnar); grand-niece, Talia Tanick and many cousins and dear friends. Shelley was a brilliant published novelist and teacher of fiction writing. She was Editor-in-Chief of the Minnesota Daily in 1960-61, her senior year at the University of Minnesota. She was warm and funny and loved her dogs and cats. We will not see her like again.
