Ashton, Darold Arthur age 85, of Burnsville, died peacefully in his home surrounded by his wife, children and their families on November 5, 2022. Darold was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Florence, sister Dorothy, and Granddaughter Kelsey. He is survived by his loving wife and partner of 65 years, Anita, children, Scott (Kris), Camille (Paul) Christianson, Troy (Angela), Michelle and Julie (Tom) Strid. Darold was a proud grandpa of 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He deeply loved his family and enjoyed talking about them to anyone who would listen. The family is grateful for the care he received at the Minneapolis VA Hospital and Minnesota Hospice. A Celebration of Darold's Life will be held for family and friends at 11 am on Friday, January 13, 2023, at the Fort Snelling Memorial Chapel, 7601 34th Ave S Minneapolis, MN.
