Huso, Beverly Ann died peacefully at her home on November 23rd at the age of 68 after living well with cancer for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Leona Huso and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Bev is survived by her loving sister, Barbara, brother-in-law, Kirk Koebnick, nieces, Emily Koebnick (Matthew Sells), Libby Koebnick (Michael Playford), grand-nephew, Simon, Kirk's sisters, Georgia Feist and Linda Koebnick, and many cousins and friends. Bev grew up in St. Anthony and graduated from St. Anthony Village High School in 1972. She attended UMD and the U of MN. She worked at the U of MN School of Dentistry for many years before transitioning to a very successful career in Medical Research. Beverly loved to travel! She was always looking forward to her next adventure to Mexico, the North Shore, Chicago, a cruise, or an Amtrak trip. Always first class! She was already planning a Trans-Atlantic cruise with friends when diagnosed with pancreatic cancer a year ago. In true Beverly style, she made that trip in September. Bev lived life on her own terms with no regrets or apologies. She cherished her friends and loved her family passionately. She was the most generous and loving Auntie Bev!! A special thank you to her cancer teams at the University of Minnesota and the amazing Accent Hospice caregivers. And, to her angels on earth - her friends, Cindy Swan Henderlite, Cathy Smith, Lori Wosmek, Susie Cyronek and Judy Harris Lykins. Please join us to celebrate Beverly's life on Monday, December 12th from 1:00 to 3:00 PM with a memorial service at 3:00 at Washburn- McReavy Hillside Chapel, 2610 19th Ave NE, Mpls. Memorials can be directed to Masonic Cancer Center, University of Minnesota. Funds will be distributed to Metastatic Breast Cancer, Pancreatic Cancer and Hospice.
