Chadwick, Heidi Freerks passed away peacefully on November 12, 2022, after sharing a life full of love and laughter, fun and adventure, with a wealth of family and friends. A native Minnesotan, Heidi graduated from Edina West HS in 1977. She earned her journalism degree from the University of Minnesota (1982), where she was a member of Chi Omega. Her first job out of college was with the Minneapolis Institute of Art, followed by a long career in marketing and communications. She met her future husband, Chad, after moving to the Washington, DC area. They wed in 1993 and settled in Richmond, VA, in 1994. Their son was born in 1996. In Heaven, Heidi is with her beloved parents, Eugene and Patricia Freerks, and her grandparents. She is survived by her husband Greg (Chad) Chadwick; her son, Christopher; brothers Douglas, James (Mary), Robert (Laurie) and Karl (Daisy), sister Christine Bartholdt (Bart), mother-in-law Carol, sister- and brother-in-law Karen and Ken Mark; 15 nieces and nephews; 12 great-nieces and nephews; and countless friends. A memorial service will be held and live streamed from St. David's Episcopal Church in Richmond, VA, December 10 at 3:00 pm EST.
