Wilson, Jack Wayne 4/19/1934-12/20/2021 Jack grew up in NE Minneapolis. He enjoyed many activities in high school, including football and baseball. He became involved in boating in Pequot Lakes, MN, where his family had a cabin. After graduating from high school Jack joined the Air Force. Jack married La Donna Vadies and had 3 children Vicki, Shelly, Bobby. He later married Lila Opsal who had 2 children, Mike and Connie. Jack and Lila spent the summer weekends boating on the St. Croix river. After river adventures, they purchased a home on Balsam Lake in Wisconsin where they made many friends and enjoyed lake activities, golfing and snowmobiling. Jack decided to retire at the early age of 50, so he could enjoy his passion for golf. Jack and Lila spent winters in Bradenton, Florida and summers in Wisconsin and later in Alexandria, MN. Jack had an abundance of friends and always a good story to tell. Jack was predeceased by parents Robert and Priscilla Wilson, brothers Robert and Earl Wilson, and stepson Mike Opsal. He is survived by Lila Wilson, Vicki Tracy, Shelly Wilson, Bob Wilson (Lesa), Connie Opsal, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
