He served two years in the U.S. Army as a medic. Tom worked for Conoco Oil and IDS American Express as a real estate attorney. He was a member of St. Peter's Parish in Richfield for 47 years, where he sang in the choir for over 30 years. He had a beautiful singing voice. He served on the parish council, finance committee, and coached countless basketball teams. He also served on the board of the Academy of Holy Angels, and the alumni board of the Univesrity of St. Thomas. He was a super volunteer, dedicating his time and energy to many worthy organizations. He was a fantastic athlete, playing basketball, softball, and golf, and was an avid card player. He loved puzzles and diligently completed the crossword puzzles in the newspaper daily. Tom traveled the United States and the world with his wife and friends, and he loved visiting new places and experiencing new cultures. Tom was the last the the Dead Enders and the ROMEOS (Retired Old Men Eating Out), and we know the reunion he's having now is filled with inside jokes and laughter. Tom loved children and was incredibly patient. His grandchildren always held a very special place in his heart. Tom was quiet, smart, compassionate, and witty. Above all else, Tom was kind. He will be missed by all who knew him.
