Lantto, "Gordie" Greeted by a class of student nurses, William Gordon Jennings Lantto entered the world on September 12, 1968 at St. Barnabas Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. He departed this world on May 16, 2022 at St. David's Hospital in Round Rock, Texas. Only son of parents, Judy and Reuben, he spent his school years in St. Louis Park, Brooklyn Park and Plymouth. Gordie was a 1987 graduate of Wayzata HS. After attending Mankato State, he was employed by American National Can, Continental Machines and for the last 15 years, UNIVAR in St. Paul. He enjoyed skiing, golf and watching football but snowmobiling was his passion! Grandparents Emma and Ernest Lantto and Ruth and Ed Jennings preceded him in death as well as his Father, Reuben. Also, predeceased by six aunts, three uncles, and several cousins. He will be missed by those he leaves behind. Mother: Judy, of Pflugerville, TX. Sisters: Caprice Lantto-Walker (Russ Walker) of Pflugerville, TX and Jolie (Kent) Lillie of Farmington, MN. Nephews: Reece (April Ashleson) Wagstaff of Circle Pines, MN; Micah Lillie, student at SDSU in Brookings, SD; Harrison Lillie, student at Mizzou in Columbia, Mo. Godparents: Aunt Karen and Uncle Bill "Sonny" Reeves of St. Louis, Mo. Aunts: Sharon (Bruce) Bekkala; Katherine Johnson; Judy (Steve) Byman). Uncles: Ernest "Stan" Lantto; Chris (Vicki) Lantto; Curtis (Marlene) Peterson; Waldo Schacht. Further survived by many cousins and friends. Celebration of Life to be held on June 25, 2022 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM at Holiday Inn Suites located at 20800 Kenrick Ave. in Lakeville, MN 55044. Refreshments to be served.
