Peralta Barba, Paola Melissa Born July 22, 1988 in La Paz, Bolivia. She passed away June 11, 2022 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her mother Roxana and father Miguel, and oldest sister Mariana, and is survived by her sister Carla Andrea Anderson Peralta, Chad Hartman, and nephew Michael Anderson. Melissa's unexpected passing has left a tremendous void in the family. Her kind heart, her classy and unique sense of style, contagious laugh and sense of humor, her love for God and family and her passion for life will be remembered and deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Melissa spent her childhood in La Paz, Bolivia and was always surrounded by friends and family. In 2002 Melissa and her mother came to Minneapolis to join her sister Carla Andrea and lived in the area for the rest of her life. She had a lifelong passion for animals and doted on her two dogs Pedrito and Mario. She worked for US Bank for more than 10 years, where she was highly esteemed by her colleagues. She traveled extensively and truly lived life to the fullest. Visitation will be held at Living Word Christian Center on June 30th at 11am with service to follow. The family has requested for all to wear black and/or white. In lieu of flowers please send memorials to Animal Humane Society and/or the Living Word Christian Center (donations accepted at church).
