Tieman, Jean of Brooklyn Park passed away on May 18th, 2022 at Urbana Place in her sleep. Born in Butterfield, MN, Jean moved to Minneapolis after high school where she met her husband, Arnold, and raised their family of four children. Jean lived a full life which was devoted to her family and to God. She loved everyone equally and was gifted in many ways. She was an artist who did charcoal drawings in her youth and many paintings as backdrops for church theater and for granddaughter's bedroom walls. She took great pride in how she maintained and decorated her homes with art and fine furnishings. Preceded in death by husband, Arnold Tieman; daughter, Cynthia Schierman; parents, Theodore and Maude Anderson; brother, James Anderson and sisters, DeLorris (Alvin) Quiring and Eleanor (Ike) Ringen. Survived by sons, Craig (Kimberly), Robert (Carrie) and Daniel (LeAnne); grandchildren, Aubrey (Tim), Crystal (Aaron), Heather (Paul), Christopher (Tia), Allison, Kaitlyn, Kristina, Kristopher and Jon (Sunny); great grandchildren, Cooper, Campbell, Caiden, Cormack, Ben, Riley, Azalea, Mason and Olivia. A Celebration of Life will be held 10 AM Tuesday, May 24th, 2022 with visitation one hour prior at Lakewood Chapel (Lakewood Cemetery, 3600 Hennepin Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55408).
