Swaja, Eugene Anthony "Gene" age 87, of Coon Rapids, MN went home to be with his heavenly father on April 23rd, 2022. Possessing a vibrant, outgoing personality and dedicating the majority of his life to the sales profession, Gene had a unique ability to be able to strike up a conversation with just about anyone and make them feel like they had been friends for years. Preceded in death by wife Jean, brother John, mother Victoria, and father Anthony. He is survived by son Chris (Marie), and three step daughters, Sue (Steve) Vergin, Deb Janiak, and Bonnie Shadduck, as well as many wonderful grandchildren. Funeral service to be held at St. Charles Borromeo, 2739 Stinson Pkwy, St. Anthony, Friday May 20th, at 11:30 am. Reviewal 1 hour before. Private interment at Fort Snelling at a later date.
