Davis, Lavina M. (Amundson) Age 93 of Edina, formerly of Woodbury. Born in Long Prairie, MN on October 20, 1928 and passed away in Edina, MN on May 12, 2022. Preceded in death by her husband, Garland; parents, Eddie and Laura Myrtle Amundson; siblings, Donald Amundson and Helen Garland. Lavina will be deeply missed by her daughter, Kirsten (Inaki Baquedano) Davis; brother-in-law, Raymond Garland; sister-in-law, Doris Amundson; nieces, great-nieces, nephew, great-nephews, cousins, and extended family members. Lavina graduated from Wheaton College in 1953 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She married her beloved Garland Davis in 1954. She worked as a computer programmer for many years with IBM and Allianz. Lavina was an active member of her church families and devoted to her faith in Jesus. Visitation will be held from 9:30am until time of service at 10:30am on Monday, May 23, 2022 at CrossPoint Church, 9801 France Ave S., Bloomington.
