Godfrey, Timothy Dieter age 69 was born Oct. 4, 1952 in Germany and passed away on Feb. 12, 2022 after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. Preceded in death by parents, Elwood and Alice Godfrey; father-in-law, Adrian Athey and his beloved dog, Gizmoe. Survived by his wife of 40 years, Deborah (neé, Athey) Godfrey; children, James (Amy) Jorgensen of Phoenix, AZ, Carol Ann (John) Chambers of San Diego, CA, Andrew (Samantha) Godfrey of Blaine, MN, Adria (Chris) Deutsch of Coon Rapids, MN; grandchildren, Anthony, Mary, Landon, Emma, Gia, Adrian, and Zeah; sisters, Connie (Kent) Clark of Denver, CO and Patty Godfrey of Belleville, IL; mother-in-law, Carol Athey of Richfield, MN; brother-in-law, Robert Athey of Richfield, MN; nieces, nephews, other family members, friends and beloved coworkers at Fairview Riverside Emergency Room. Tim had the gift of gab and never met a stranger who he couldn't or wouldn't talk to! He loved fishing and spending weekends at the lake up north. He spent 30 years working at Fairview Riverside Hospital. Memorial Service 11:00AM Friday, May 20th at Oak Grove Lutheran Church, 7045 Lyndale Ave. S. with a visitation one hour prior.
