Sperling, Carolyn 86, died March 2nd, 2022 with family by her side in Eden Prairie, MN. She fought a long battle against Vascular Dementia. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She taught us how to love unconditionally, show compassion, have patience, persevere, do our best, love nature, have fun, and laugh. Carolyn is survived by her husband, Roger Sperling; children, Christi Ann Mallinger (Michael), Robert Sperling, Lisa Sperling (Jane Gaut), Paul Sperling (Beth Squires); 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Elsie and Earl Roopenian. A "Celebration of Life" is planned for June 5, 2022 (12pm-2pm) at Fern Hill Park, 4421 28th St. W., St. Louis Park, MN 55416. In Carolyn's name, a gift for a memorial will be made to the MN Landscape Arboretum or the Japanese Garden at Como Park.
