Olson, Debra Jean age 66, of St. Paul passed away at Regions Hospital on Monday, January 10, 2022. Debra was born on August 1, 1955 in Minneapolis, MN to Francis Oscar Olson II and Violetta Ruth Decker. She was a graduate of Rocori High School and the University of Minnesota. Debra worked for many years as a Project Manager for Blue Cross Blue Shield. Debra was a woman of strong faith. She loved animals and her work with service dogs. She enjoyed supporting Minnesota sports teams and attending games, particularly the Lynx, Vikings, and Twins. Debra is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Frank. She is survived by her companion Gene Niezgocki; her children Diane (Kit) Miller, Shelley Smith, Caitlin (Chris) DiSalvi, and Mallory Storm; siblings Judith (Gerald) Andresen, Lynn Olson, and Craig (Leonida) Olson; and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
