Kuklock, Lorraine Antoinette Age 86 of Columbia Heights, MN, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2022, of natural causes. Born in rural Foley, MN, January 17, 1935. Preceded in death by parents Alex and Johanna Knapek, brothers Eugene and Francis Knapek, brother-in-law, William Nicol, and her best friend and husband of 64 years, Richard. Survived by children Lee (Judy) Kuklock, Diane Lucas and partner Lori DeNert, Suzanne Falconer, Paul (Michelle) Kuklock; grandchildren Dalyn, Madeline, Logan, and Andrew Kuklock; great grandchild Elias Hite; brother and sister-in-law, Marcel, and Rosemary Knapek, sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Robert Batt, sister, Bernadine Nicol and sisters-in-law, Lorraine, and Donna Mae Knapek; many nieces and nephews. Lorraine (Rainy) will be remembered for her generous spirit, bright smile, and easy conversation. Her hobbies included volunteer work at her children's elementary school, gardening, knitting, and reading anything and everything. She was particularly talented in food preparation, honing skills learned from her mother, and was an excellent cook and entertainer. Many holidays and summers included wonderful meals shared with friends and family alike. Lorraine's kind spirit endeared her to everyone, when her children were young, her house was the one all the kids in the neighborhood would come to. As her children grew, it wasn't uncommon for their friends to visit with Rainy when they weren't around. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend and will be missed by many. A Mass of Christian Burial for Lorraine and Richard is planned for Thursday, April 28, 2022, 11:00 a.m. St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Maple Grove, MN. Interment Friday, April 29, 2022, MN State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls, MN, immediate family. Memorials preferred to Our Lady of Peace Hospice or the St. Joseph's Indian School.
