Baregi, John F. 79, passed away peacefully Friday, December 17, 2021. He was born November 11, 1942, in St. Paul, MN to Roland and Beverly Baregi (Cardelli). He was a loving husband of 58 years, father of 4 children, 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren. Joining the military right after graduation, John served in the USAF as Manager of Small Arms Ranges for Pacific Air command. He married the love of his life, Mary, May of 1962. Together they traveled throughout the US as well as John traveling alone, outside the US, retiring after 28 years of service, SR MSGT. John was a true outdoorsman. Family vacations included camping, fishing, and hunting. Hunting was his passion and he would take several yearly hunting trips with family and friends. He even had the opportunity to hunt in Argentina. Preceded in death by his parents and his wife Mary. Survived by his sisters: Lynne (Denny) Meidlinger, Barb (Gene) Redlich, Jan (Dave) Bremner, Deb (Alan) Full, Jodi (Chad) Langston. Children: daughter Cheri (Casey) Norris, sons John (Amy) Baregi, Mark (Tina) Baregi, Joe Baregi. Grandchildren Seth Koen, Tony (Terese) Baregi, William (Lauren) Baregi, Samantha (Keagan) Babicky, Sean (Karli) Koen, Annie (Dan) Kettler, Mario Baregi, Madison Baregi, Malia Baregi, Cooper Baregi, Chloe Baregi. Great grandchildren Charlotte Babicky, Peyton Baregi, Beverly Babicky, Norah Koen and Jameson Baregi. A celebration of life will be held for John and Mary Baregi on February 19, 2022, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Royal Cliff Event Center, 2280 Cliff Road, Eagan, MN 55122.
