of Brooklyn Center, age 82, passed away unexpectedly early on January 3, 2022. Her grace, resilience, humor, and interest in news, cards, music and TV shows, and her enthusiasm for sports, especially for the Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Twins, endeared her to all. 

Sharon was crowned Miss St. Louis Park in 1958 and Minneapolis Queen of the Lakes for 1959. Until recent years, she enjoyed attending multiple Aquatennial events each July. After graduating from the University of Minnesota, Sharon taught at Jordon Junior High in the Minneapolis School System. A talented dancer from an early age, beginning while in high school and later on, she held Saturday dance classes for young girls.  

Sharon joined 1957 graduates of St. Louis Park High School for fun monthly luncheons at Park Tavern in recent years.

Preceded in death by parents, Earl and Julie Bigalke, she is survived by her loving son, David Siebert, and cherished by many friends, including Marilyn Siebert and Sophie Siebert, and Jane Hoyt, her longtime legal guardian, and James Davies. Special thanks are sent to Abbott Northwestern Hospital doctors, nurses, and respiratory therapists who gave Sharon excellent care and showed such respect for her welfare over several decades. A private family interment will take place at Lakewood Cemetery. Notice of a memorial service celebrating Sharon's life will be published in the spring. Memorials preferred to Abbott Northwestern Hospital Foundation or the American Lung Association.
