Lund, Robert James age 73, went to meet his Creator on December 5, 2021. He was born in Duluth, MN; raised on a farm in Floodwood, MN. The son of Walter and Linda (Minkkinen) Lund, both deceased. For many years, Bob was a resident of Duluth. He enlisted as an Air Traffic Controller in the U.S. Air Force and served at several locations throughout the U.S. and in Vietnam. He worked in the taconite metal mining industry. He was a Financial Representative with Thrivent Financial. Bob is survived by his wife, Linda, and daughters Leah Lund-Ghazi (Rukhan) and Lori Frey (Glenn); grandchildren, Michael Lund-Knill, Courtney Olson, Rochelle Lund; step-daughter Jessica Wilken (Dennis) and grandson Brayden. He is also survived by siblings John (Roberta deceased) Lund, Bette (Richard) Neitzke, Lois Hamilton, William (Katie) Lund, Lawrence (Barbara) Lund, & Colleen Lund. He is preceded in death by brother Gerald Lund and sister Sharon (Lund) Filiatrault.
