Nelson, John Roger age 76, went to be with the Lord, September 3, 2021 after a short battle with cancer. He is survived by his sons Johnny Nelson, wife Michele, and Allen Nelson, fiancée Colleen, and daughter Breanna Nelson and his sisters Sharon Nelson, Norrine Nelson, and Tyka Nelson Phillips. His sister Lorna Nelson and brothers Duane Joseph Nelson and Prince Rogers Nelson preceded him in death. Johnny was blessed to have a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, an aunt, uncle, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Johnny will be remembered for having a tender spirit, for not being a complainer, his generosity and his artistic abilities.
