It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of our dearly loved Teresa, age 84, on July 13, 2021.

Teresa was born in Naliboki, Poland in 1937, the daughter of Witold and Mary Baszuro. She was the youngest of three children including brother Stanley and sister Jadzia. Through determination, perseverance and a strong faith their family survived World War II and the horrors of the concentration camps, starvation, and war. In 1949, they were sponsored to the United States by a Catholic parish priest in Cherokee, Iowa.

She married the love of her life, Charles Wingert, in 1957. Together they raised three children, Michael, Thomas, and Suzanne in their lifelong home in Bloomington, Minnesota. Over the years, Teresa and Chuck built a beautiful home together with Teresa's excellent decorating and sewing skills and Chuck's woodworking talents. Teresa was a very accomplished seamstress, writing pattern instructions and teaching at Kwik Sew pattern company throughout her career. She and Chuck raised their family in faith as members of St Richards Catholic Church over the years. Teresa tragically lost her beloved husband, Chuck, in 1989. She married John Coyne, a loving husband and companion, in 2002.

Teresa was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Her greatest joy was her family. She lit up every room with her positive and cheerful nature, and everyone loved to be around her. She loved hosting family gatherings at her home and was an excellent host. She was generous and kind. She loved to sew each family member special "just because I love you" gifts. Teresa was excited for and proud of the people she loved. She was enthusiastic and genuinely interested in her kids and grandkids lives and always made them feel nothing short of special.

Teresa is preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles, grandson Matthew, and her second husband John Coyne. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She is survived by sons Michael (Lori) Wingert, Thomas Wingert, and daughter Suzanne (Dave) Oberg; eight grandchildren: David (Meaghan), Mark (Alexandra), Christina, Jeff, Jenny Wingert, Ethan, Isaac and Hallie Oberg; three great-grandchildren: Hannah, Rowen and Caden Wingert; brother Stanley (Bonnie) Baszuro, sister Jadzia Mallory; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 12th from 9:30am-10:30am and funeral service at 10:30am at St. Richards Catholic Church in Richfield, Minnesota. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Mendota Heights, Minnesota. Memorials to the Alzheimer's Association or Prelude Ministries (preludeministries.org).
