Katz, A. Larry of North Oaks, beloved husband, son, brother, father, and friend, died unexpectedly on May 31, 2021, at the age of 88. Born February 19, 1933, to Harry and Ann Katz. He married Lori in 1979. Larry shared his passion for worldly travels with his wife and friends. He enjoyed classical music, golfing and time with his family and friends. He poured his heart and soul into his work as an attorney for 64 years. B.S. IU of MN 1955, LL.B.; U of MN Law School 1957. He earned a juris doctor degree in 1957. Selected to Super Lawyers 1991, 1993-2021. He is remembered for his quick wit, kind works, warm heart, and caring nature. The extent of his generosity will never be fully known. Preceded in death by his parents, Harry & Ann Katz; his son, David Michael; and sister, Beverly Katz Broh. Larry is survived by his wife, Loretta; brother, Norman Fassler-Katz; daughter, Sheryl Katz Denker (Bruce); son, Ronald Evan Katz; stepchildren, Annette M. Wallen (Thomas), Jean E. Schow (Shawn), Sandra L. Vance (Kevin), Maria K. Love (Bill); grandchildren, Lauren, Morgan, Steven, Brian, Kevin, Jennifer, Adam, Meghan, and Rachel; and 6 great-grandchildren. He will be missed by so many, near and far. Graveside service 11:00 am, THURSDAY, June 3, 2021, MINNEAPOLIS JEWISH CEMETERY, 7032 Penn Ave. S., Richfield.
