Borgen, Henry P. "Pete" age 73, of Maple Grove, passed away peacefully at home January 10, 2021. Preceded in death by parents, Henry and Marian Borgen; sister, Kathy LePoidevin; and stepfather, Francis "Slim" Thumma. Survived by wife, Holly Borgen; daughter, Melissa (Dylan) Spofford; sister, Constance (Gary) Geick; stepbrother, Jim (Becky) Thumma; stepsister, Mary June Edwards; and nieces and nephews. Pete's love of the water as a child led him to serving in the Coast Guard. That love continued throughout his life. Lake life, fishing and time on the pontoon is where you could always find Pete. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Thursday, June 17, 2021, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic church, 9100 93rd Ave. N., Brooklyn Park, with visitation 1 hour prior to mass at church.
