Martin, George F 'Sarge' Age 78 of Edina MN, passed away peacefully March 29, 2021. He fought a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's disease and Dementia. Preceded in death by his wife, Cheri (April 13, 2020) parents, Wayne and Fay Martin. Sarge is survived by; children: Todd (Judi) Martin, Kelly Martin; 5 grandchildren: Connor, Bella, Parry, Mollie and Ally: Sister; Ginger Norris. Sarge began his airline pilot career with North Central Airlines in 1966 and continued on with Republic Airlines, finishing his 33 year career as a Northwest Airlines pilot. Sarge was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be missed by many. A celebration of life to be determined at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Parkinson's Foundation.
