Theodore Max Kaden

Kaden, Theodore Max Age 82, of Ham Lake, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2020 of natural causes. Ted was born in Milbank, SD on March 5, 1938. He graduated from Milbank High School in 1956 and from South Dakota State College in 1960 with a Bachelor's degree in microbiology. He was employed at the Minnesota Department of Health and the University of Minnesota. He retired years later from Onan Corporation. Ted was an avid bicyclist and spent many long days on the road, typically logging 1,000+ miles during the summer. He immensely enjoyed vacationing with his wife, hiking the national parks and the North Shore. Preceded in death by parents, Theodore Sr. and Annis, sister, Janet Cook, and granddaughter, Selah. He is survived by loving wife Karen. Ted was the sweetest, kindest husband in the world. He is also survived by loving children, Mary Kaden (Steve Barrett), Kari (Kevin) Wendt, Brian, David (Lisa) Kaden, Karole (Mike) Lieb, 18 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, sister, Nancy (Pat) O'Brien, brother, Arthur Kaden. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at CHURCH OF ST. PAUL (1740 Bunker Lake Blvd., Ham Lake, MN) Friday, January 15, 2021 at 11:30 AM. Private interment Calvary Cemetery.
