Shapiro, Evelyn Age 85, of Saint Louis Park, MN passed away on November 3, 2020, after a brief illness. Born and raised in Minneapolis, MN and the second of seven children, Evelyn graduated from North High in 1952. She attended the U of M for two years where she met her husband, Sherwood Shapiro. Evelyn was a voracious reader, political junkie and active Scrabble player. She especially loved to spend time with family and friends, and engage people in meaningful conversations. Preceded in death by parents, Simon and Mollie Javinsky; and brother, Melvin Javinsky. Survived by husband, Sherwood; children, Susan Shapiro (Ted Bezat), Michael (Naomi) Shapiro and Elizabeth (Jeff) Swanson; her five siblings; and a multitude of grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
