Parten, Charles G. "Chuck" loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, passed away at age 78 on October 13, 2020. Chuck lived most of his life in the Twin Cities where he spent the past 30 years as a business advisor and coach, inspiring individuals to achieve their best. Friends and clients described him as compassionate, kind, and driven. Chuck loved the Lord and was committed to serving Him in every facet of his life. An ideal day for Chuck may have begun with breakfast and Bible study at Perkins, followed by a boat ride with friends on Lake Minnetonka, then quiet time feeding the birds in his yard. Chuck is survived by daughters Kara (David) Newland of Anthem, AZ, Marit Parten of Belmont, CA, brother Daniel (Ruth) Parten of Minneapolis, and grandchildren Lucas and Joshua Newland, Amelia, Nate, and Sonja Hsich. Memorial service to be held at a later date in Minneapolis.
