Gustafson, Betty J. Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at the age of 99. Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a graduate of the U of M, she loved to travel, entertain, read, volunteer, play bridge, and follow sports. Those were 99 well-lived years! Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Gustafson Sr.; her parents, William Sr and Margaret Hirsch; her brother and sister-in-law, William Jr and Bernice Hirsch. Betty is survived by her sons, Bob (Connie) Gustafson and Jim (Carol) Gustafson. Betty was devoted to her beloved grandchildren, Sean Gustafson, Sara (Greg) Feinberg, Sheila (Frank) King, Gretchen (Matt) Gustafson-Higbee, and Kirsten Gustafson. Her adored great grandchildren Naomi and Adele Feinberg and Jaden, Marley, and Sadie King filled her later years with joy. She is also survived by her nephews and their families and many dear friends. As Betty wished, there will be no funeral services. A celebration of her life will be held when the danger of covid has passed. If desired, memorials may be directed to Allina Health Hospice Foundation.
